San Staefano Marina & Privet Beach

Introduction
To construct any project beside shore as marina, roads, brides and private beach at first shall know the natural of working areas so sea bed survey should be carried out at first to know sea bed nature (rock, sand or mud) water depth water current and waves force also
Weather condition (wind speed, direction and swell) should be taken into confederation
Previous data affects design of these projects such as concrete (shapes, weight and friction ) and layers specification

Layers
According to design and sea bed survey 3 layers to be installed as follow
Layer 1 core layer
This layer of small rocks which weights between 10 100 kg made of basalt this layer height and slop to be determined according to engineering

Layer 2 under layer

This layer consists of rocks bigger than first layer these rocks weights between 1- tons of basalt also
This layer to fix the core layer

Layer 3 Armor layer
This layer consists of concrete blocks weights between 10 -25 tons made of special king of cement. This layer takes different shapes according to design

Note:
All layer height, slop and weight to be done according to engineering
Different shapes of concrete blocks due to different sea state, wave forces, current, wave height and wind speed

Work Scenario:
Installation of the up mentioned layers to be performed by two phases
Phases 1 (underwater activities)
Hydrographic survey shall be carried out to determine the working area and divers to install markers buoys at the boundaries of this area.
According to sea bed nature (sand or mud) filter must be installed under core to prevent all layers from falling down. Filters to be divided into two kind Geotexile and micro rocks
Marine unite (special type of floating Barges) start to transfer core rocks to sea bed according to engineering, divers to check layer till it reaches specified height also check slope then start installing under layer rocks till it reached sea level taking into consideration marine unit draft.
This marine unit is towed by tug boat and could be loaded by core layer rocks weight about 15 tons each trip and makes 10 to 15 tripe per according to weather condition, also using excavator above pontoon

Phase 2 (above water activities)
After finishing phase 1 and check height and slope of core and under layers using divers, installing armor layer concrete block using excavator and cranes (floating and Landing)
Also during installation check slope and height using divers and surveyors the floating crane capacity 130 tons to transfer 4 concrete blocks during trip to put these blocks close to land crane which capacity 30 tons
