Library of Alexandria began to organize a campaign for Arab and international media to promote her bid to reach the number of visitors to Three million visitors a year, rather than the current one million visitors. The campaign, according to Dr. Khaled Azab Library Director of the Department of Public Information to highlight the quantitative and qualitative level of services, cultural and scientific library, which looks to be submitted through the diversification of the languages of their collections of books, and work to enrich the library in increasing numbers of books and periodicals dealing with scientific, technical and cultural , as well as the level used by the electronic and digital technology.
The campaign comes in the framework of the promotion of tourism for the city of Alexandria Library, which embraces the coast, including the preparation of information on the film library was produced in cooperation with UNESCO, and was sent to the stations, some countries, including UAE, Jordan, France, Norway, Canada, Portugal, Greece, Italy, Bahrain, South Africa, in addition to many organizations and media institutions to broadcast on the monitors.
